Mark Johnson found his calling to healthcare at an early age. He completed his EMT license as a senior in high school, before he joined the Santa Rosa Junior College Fire Academy. Mark has worked and volunteered as both an EMT and a firefighter throughout California, but it was his experience working in substance abuse treatment when he found the rewards that come from helping teens. He is currently pursuing his degree in nursing with the goal of continuing his work in adolescent behavioral health and recovery. Mark has traveled extensively and his travels have shaped his belief that compassion, insight, and adaptability are key to supporting youth who are struggling with the challenges of being young in today’s world.
