Jedidiah Purses, M.A., AMFT(111405)**

Jedidiah Purses is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley and of the Hakomi Institute of California, where he completed training in somatic and mindfulness based psychotherapy. He is completing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide and thrives on being a therapeutic partner with teens and families. His clinical approach is informed and inspired by evidenced based practices such as TEAM CBT, and DBT which Jed combines with somatic awareness and mindfulness. Before joining Paradigm, he worked as a mentor and life coach for adolescents leading weekend and week-long retreats. It was this experience with teens that inspired him to pursue a career as a mental health therapist and advocate for adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and other emotional health issues.
