Elise Hound is pursuing her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. Her academic experience is coupled with clinical experience in individual, family and group therapy to teens and children. Elise’s work is informed by an Existential-Humanistic approaches that emphasize authenticity, presence and choice. She has a deep appreciation for autonomy and individuality which she finds as especially important in adolescent development. Understanding how overwhelming the feelings of trauma, depression, and anxiety can be, Elise looks for ways for and moments of humor and silliness as means of fostering connection. Elise enjoys her family, dog, and exploring different avenues of self-care.
